Young Investigator Regional Track
Dr Mohamed Jemaa studied biology in Tunisia at the Higher Institute of Biotechnology in Monastir and the Faculty of Medicine in Monastir. In 2008, he moved to Paris to pursue his doctoral thesis in oncology at the Gustave Roussy Institute (IGR), after which he continued with a post-doctorate at the same institute, then at the Centre for Research in Cell Biology in Montpellier (CRBM-CNRS). He later became a Principal Investigator (PI, Team Leader) at the Institute of Physiology in Tübingen, Germany, and subsequently a PI at the Faculty of Medicine in Lund, Sweden. In 2022, he returned to his home country, Tunisia, and joined the Faculty of Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine in Tunis.
