Dear Friends,

When we launched the King Hussein Cancer Research Award in 2020, we dared to dream of an Arab world actively integrated into global cancer research. Today, that dream has become an actual movement, carried forward by great minds from across our region.

In these five years, we built a community grounded in science, driven by collaboration, and united in the deep conviction that research is the key to the fight against cancer. It is a conviction that was long championed by Jordan’s beloved late King, Hussein bin Talal.

King Hussein’s deep belief in the power of research to serve humanity continues to guide us, as we gather each year in his name in Amman, Jordan, to celebrate and support the researchers and institutions leading the fight against cancer in our region, and beyond.

Thank you for being a part of our mission, and for supporting the research which brings us closer every day to a future where cancer can be easily treated and cured.
