Dr. Larry Bodgi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology with a joint appointment in the Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology, and Physiological Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine of the American University of Beirut. He leads a radiobiology research team focused on DNA damage and repair, biomarkers of radiosensitivity, and the mechanisms that shape cancer treatment response. Dr. Bodgi earned his Ph.D. in Radiobiology from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and Saint Joseph University, where he studied ATM protein dynamics in radiation response. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, holds four patents, and has received multiple national and international awards. His work bridges fundamental biology with translational applications to improve radiotherapy outcomes and reduce toxicities.
