Research Grant

Funding for two 2-year research proposals to be conducted in the Arab world by young promising researchers in any discipline related to cancer

Young Investigator

The King Hussein Award’s Young Investigator Award recognizes investigators at the beginning of their careers (younger than 45) for their impactful and innovative contributions to cancer research. The Award includes the following two tracks:

1.      Regional Track: Available to young investigators working in the region

2.      International Track: Available to young investigators of Arab origin working abroad

Lifetime Achievement

This Award includes the following two tracks:

• Regional (recognizing Arab researchers working in the region) 

• International (recognizing Arab researchers working outside of the region)

Academic Program Excellence

The King Hussein Award’s category for ‘Academic Program Excellence’ recognizes academic programs in the field of cancer which are affiliated with or offered by a university, an academic institution, an accredited hospital, or an accredited cancer center in the Arab world.

The program must demonstrate its commitment to research, teaching, and/or training of future healthcare professionals.
