The King Hussein Cancer Research Award is the leading international initiative to advance, enable and celebrate Arab excellence in cancer research.
Established in 2020 in honor of the memory of His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal of Jordan, a firm believer in cancer research, the Award recognizes leading researchers – both in the region and globally – who are making outstanding contributions to our knowledge of cancer, especially cancer in the Arab world.
This award tied to HM King Hussein is truly the ultimate recognition of my achievement. This prestigious award plays a vital role in fostering cancer research in the Arab world, and the fruits will become visible in our near future.
Prof. Rami Komrokji
The King Hussein Award serves as a bridge between Arab cancer researchers and clinician-scientists working at cancer hospitals around the world. Only through collaboration and inclusively we achieve a cure.
